Wiener Schnitzel

We offer you a recipe for Wiener Schnitzel. Wiener Schnitzel is a dish of Austrian cuisine and is always made from veal.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces (150 g each) of veal
  • 75 g of flour
  • 75 g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of heavy cream
  • 1 egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 100 g of butter
  • 1 lemon

Preparation:

  1. Salt and pepper the meat on both sides. Then beat it thinly. For best results, beat the meat evenly to a thickness of 0.5 cm.
  2. To bread the schnitzel, place 3 shallow containers: pour the flour into the first plate, beat the egg with heavy cream and place in the second plate, and pour the breadcrumbs into the third plate.
  3. Add butter to a large skillet and melt it over medium heat.
  4. Roll the meat first in the flour until the surface is completely dry. Dip in the egg to coat, let the excess drain. Roll in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Immediately place the meat in a pan with hot oil. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until both sides are golden brown. Remove from the pan, let the oil drain.

Wiener Schnitzel is ready. Serve with lemon slices. Enjoy your meal!
