We suggest making Ukrainian Cabbage Rolls (Holubtsi) with a Unique Filling.
Ingredients:
- 10 Chinese cabbage leaves
- 500g chicken breast
- 150g fresh mushrooms
- 1-2 tomatoes
- 2-3 tablespoons of cheese
- Fresh dill
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For the sauce:
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1-2 cloves garlic
- Water
- Salt
Instructions:

Prepare the filling:
- Grind the chicken breast in a meat grinder using the largest plate.
- Dice the cleaned mushrooms and add them to the ground chicken.
- Dice the tomatoes and add them to the filling.
- Crumble the cheese into the mixture.
- Finely chop the dill, add it to the filling, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.

Prepare the cabbage leaves:
- Remove the bottom part of the cabbage.
- Separate the leaves and blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the tough veins from the leaves.

Assemble the cabbage rolls:
- Place a spoonful of the filling onto each cabbage leaf and roll them up.
- Arrange the cabbage rolls in a baking dish.

Make the sauce:
- Combine tomato paste, minced garlic, salt, and water in a bowl. Stir well.
- Pour the sauce over the cabbage rolls.

Bake:
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes.
