We suggest preparing a Tuna and Pomegranate salad.
Ingredients:
- Mixed salad greens – 120 g
- Canned tuna – 1 can (160 g)
- Pomegranate – 1 (medium, you’ll only need half)
- Cherry tomatoes – 8-12 pieces
- Olive oil – 4 tablespoons
Preparation:
- This salad is served in individual portions, so you need to prepare plates according to the number of people. Arrange the salad leaves evenly on each plate so that each type is equally distributed.
- Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters and place them around the edge of each plate at equal intervals. Refer to the photo of this recipe to see how it should look, and the method will become clear.
- Drain the liquid from the can of tuna. Place the tuna fillets in a colander or sieve. Gently divide the tuna into portions with a fork and carefully place it in the center of each plate, directly on the bed of salad leaves.
- Peel the pomegranate, removing the skin and membranes to get clean seeds. You’ll only need half of the pomegranate. Sprinkle the pomegranate seeds over the salad.
- Finally, drizzle the salad with olive oil – about 1 tablespoon per serving. Gently pour the oil over the top of the salad and serve.
