We suggest preparing tender meatballs in white sauce.
Ingredients:
- Ground meat – 400 g
- Egg – 1 pc.
- Rice – 3-4 tbsp
- Ground black pepper
- Salt
- Water
For the sauce:
- Milk – 350-400 ml
- Eggs – 2 pcs.
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Flour – 1 tbsp
- Ground black pepper
- Salt
Preparation:
- Cook the rice until it’s half-done. Mix the ground meat, rice, egg, and spices. Knead the mixture well to form the meatballs and shape them into small rounds.
- Coat each meatball in flour. Fry the meatballs on both sides in oil, then place them in a baking dish.
- To prepare the delicious white sauce, fry the flour in a pan with butter. Gradually add the hot boiled milk into the pan with the flour, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the beaten egg yolks, mixing well. Pour the sauce over the hot meatballs and let them absorb the flavors.
- Meatballs in white sauce pair perfectly with any side dish.
