We offer you a recipe for a Tea-Banana Smoothie.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250 ml) of bananas, peeled and cut into pieces, frozen for 30 minutes
- 1 cup (250 ml) of 1% fat milk
- 1 tea bag
- ⅓ cup (75 ml) of granulated sweetener / sugar
- ½ cup (125 ml) of plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- ½ cup (125 ml) of ice cubes
Preparation:
- Pour the milk into a microwave-safe measuring cup. Heat the microwave on high for 1 minute, until the milk is very hot, but not boiling.
- Remove and add the tea bag to the milk and let it steep for 20 minutes, gently pressing the bag with a spoon to release the aroma.
- Remove and discard the tea bag. Cool the milk with tea for 10 minutes.
- In a blender, combine frozen bananas, sweetener / sugar, yogurt, ice cubes and milk with tea. Blend the mixture until smooth, stopping from time to time to clean the blender walls.
The tea-banana smoothie is ready. Enjoy your meal!
