Tea-Banana Smoothie

We offer you a recipe for a Tea-Banana Smoothie.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (250 ml) of bananas, peeled and cut into pieces, frozen for 30 minutes
  • 1 cup (250 ml) of 1% fat milk
  • 1 tea bag
  • ⅓ cup (75 ml) of granulated sweetener / sugar
  • ½ cup (125 ml) of plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup (125 ml) of ice cubes

Preparation:

  1. Pour the milk into a microwave-safe measuring cup. Heat the microwave on high for 1 minute, until the milk is very hot, but not boiling.
  2. Remove and add the tea bag to the milk and let it steep for 20 minutes, gently pressing the bag with a spoon to release the aroma.
  3. Remove and discard the tea bag. Cool the milk with tea for 10 minutes.
  4. In a blender, combine frozen bananas, sweetener / sugar, yogurt, ice cubes and milk with tea. Blend the mixture until smooth, stopping from time to time to clean the blender walls.

The tea-banana smoothie is ready. Enjoy your meal!
