We offer to prepare a delicious dish – Stuffed Cabbage Cutlets.
Ingredients:
- For the cutlets:
- 500g pork shoulder
- 1 onion
- 1 soaked and squeezed slice of white bread
- 2 eggs
- Salt
- Pepper
- Marjoram
- For the cabbage filling:
- 300g sauerkraut
- 1-2 onions
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- Marjoram
Instructions:
Cutlets:
- Grind the meat, onion, and bread in a food processor.
- Add eggs and season with salt, pepper, and marjoram. Mix well by hand.
Cabbage filling:
- Simmer the sauerkraut in a deep skillet until tender. Drain.
- Sauté chopped onion until soft. Add the sauerkraut and cook for about 3 minutes.
- Process the mixture in a food processor. Add the egg and season to taste. Mix well.
Assembling the cutlets:
- Spread the meat mixture on a flat plate. Place a dollop of the cabbage filling in the center.
- Form the mixture into long, cylindrical cutlets by folding the edges together.
- Fry in plenty of oil over low heat, covered, for 4-5 minutes per side.
