Sour Cream Sugar Pretzels

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp of sugar
  • 50 g of butter
  • 4 tbsp of thick sour cream
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 2 tbsp of flour
  • Sugar
  • Poppy seeds
  • Cinnamon for sprinkling

Preparation:

  1. Mix flour with baking soda and salt.
  2. Beat an egg into the sour cream, add sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Then add the melted butter to the mixture and mix everything until smooth.
  4. Pour in the flour with baking soda and knead the dough.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  6. Divide the dough into small pieces, roll a sausage from each piece, and make a pretzel from each sausage.
  7. Dip the finished pretzel in sugar or poppy seeds and place it on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20-30 minutes until desired color and readiness.
  9. Cool the pretzels on a wire rack.
