We suggest you cook Shepherd’s Pie with Beef. Shepherd’s Pie is a casserole made with a layer of minced lamb (nowadays often beef mince is used, and previously it was made with meat chopped with knives) and a topping of mashed potato. It is a traditional British dish. A pie made with beef is called a “cottage pie.” This term is known from 1791, when the potato was introduced into culture and became a food product available to the poorer segments of the population (they lived in “cottages” – modest houses for rural residents).
