Red Bean and Ham Salad

We suggest preparing a Red Bean and Ham Salad. This salad has a delightful sweet undertone, and it’s not only delicious but also very simple to make.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of pickled red beans
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can of canned corn
  • 1 can of canned celery
  • 150 g (5.3 oz) of ham pieces
  • Half the white part of a leek
  • A couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons of mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Boil the eggs until hard. Cool them, peel, dice, and place in a bowl.
  2. Drain the red beans, corn, and celery in a sieve. Pour boiling water over the red beans. Finely chop the leek and generously sprinkle it with salt. After some time, massage it with your hands to soften it. Add it to the other ingredients.
  3. Dice the ham and add it to the salad. Then, mix in mayonnaise and mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Thoroughly mix the salad and refrigerate before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
