Potato and chicken soup with processed cheese

We invite you to prepare potato and chicken soup with processed cheese.

Ingredients:

  • Water – 2 liters
  • Chicken fillet – 1 pc
  • Potatoes – 5 pcs
  • Carrot – 1 pc
  • Processed cheese – 100 g
  • Olive oil – 3 tbsp
  • Bay leaf – 1 pc
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Salt – to taste
  • Fresh herbs – to taste

Preparation:

  1. Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Dice the carrot. Cut the chicken breast into medium-sized pieces and fry in oil for 7 minutes.
  2. Add the diced vegetables to boiling water and cook for 20 minutes, then add the chicken and cook for another 10 minutes.
  3. Season the soup with pepper, bay leaf, and salt, stirring well.
  4. At the end of cooking, add the chilled processed cheese, cut into cubes, and stir until fully dissolved.
  5. Add finely chopped fresh herbs to the soup, simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let it sit covered for a while before serving.
