We suggest preparing a simple and delicious Norwegian Salad.
Ingredients:
- Leaf lettuce (e.g., romaine) – 1 head
- Eggs – 2 pcs
- Feta cheese – about 100 g
- Olives – 20 pcs
- Salmon – 100 g
- Dried dill – 2 tbsp
- Bread – 3 slices
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Vinegar – 3 tbsp
Preparation:
- Make croutons. Cut the bread into cubes and fry in butter until golden and crispy.
- Prepare poached eggs. Bring water to a boil with vinegar and a pinch of salt. Once boiling, stir vigorously to create a whirlpool. Crack the eggs one at a time into the center of the swirl. Cook for 3 minutes, then carefully remove and drain.
- Assemble the salad. While the eggs are cooking, divide the lettuce and the rest of the ingredients evenly onto two plates (dice the feta cheese in advance). Finally, place a poached egg on top and sprinkle with dill.
- Serve with croutons.
