Mushroom pouches

We suggest making mushroom pouches.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of ready-made puff pastry
  • 5 medium-sized potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 200 g dried mushrooms
  • 100 g cheese
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. Soak the mushrooms, boil them, and then squeeze out excess water.
  2. Peel the boiled potatoes (cooked in their skins) and cut them into cubes.
  3. Sauté the mushrooms with the onions.
  4. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  5. Mix the potatoes, cheese, mushrooms, and pepper together.
  6. Cut the thawed puff pastry into rectangles.
  7. Lightly beat the eggs.
  8. Brush the inside of each rectangle with the beaten egg, place the filling in the center, and fold the dough into pouches.
  9. Place the pouches on a baking sheet, brush with egg, and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 200°C (392°F).
  10. Garnish the finished mushroom pouches with parsley. Enjoy!
