We suggest making a dish called “Monastic Fish.”
Ingredients:
- 500 g of fish fillet
- 200 g of mushrooms (button mushrooms)
- 1 small onion
- 1 boiled egg
- 1 tomato
- 6 potatoes
- Mayonnaise
- Hard cheese
Preparation:
Cut the fish into pieces, season with salt, and drizzle with lemon juice. After 10 minutes, fry the fish in a pan. Separately, fry the mushrooms and onions, season with salt and pepper. Boil the potatoes in their skins in salted water. Blanch the tomato in boiling water, peel, and cut into wedges. Peel the egg and cut it into 8 wedges. Grate the cheese.
Lightly grease a round baking dish with oil and layer the ingredients as follows:
- Place half of the mushrooms and onions in the center of the dish.
- Place the fish pieces in the center as well (and season with pepper).
- Arrange potato slices around the edge of the dish, and alternate tomato and egg wedges around the fish in the center.
- Place the remaining mushrooms over the potatoes and in the center between the tomato and egg wedges.
- Drizzle with mayonnaise and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Monastic Fish is ready. Enjoy!
