Minister’s Salad with Beef

Let’s make a classic Minister’s Salad with beef. To speed up the preparation, we recommend boiling the beef the night before, making assembly quick and easy. For a variation, you can use chicken breast, ham, or even red fish instead of beef.

Ingredients:

  • 400g beef (tenderloin)
  • 150-200g pickled or marinated cucumbers
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 2-3 tablespoons oil (for frying)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mayonnaise to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the beef: Boil the beef in salted water until tender. Let cool and shred the meat into fibers or cut into thin strips.
  2. Make the omelets: Beat all the eggs together vigorously. Pour half of the egg mixture into a hot, oiled skillet and cook over medium heat until set. Flip and cook for a few more seconds. Repeat with the remaining egg mixture.
  3. Prepare the vegetables: Slice the cooled omelets and onion into thin strips. Cut the cucumbers into thin strips.
  4. Assemble the salad: Combine the beef, omelets, sautéed onion, and cucumbers in a bowl.
  5. Season and serve: Dress with mayonnaise, season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix well. Serve immediately.
