We suggest preparing a Margarita cocktail.
Ingredients:
- Tequila
- Orange liqueur
- Lime juice
Preparation:
Historically, the Latin American origins of the cocktail dictate the proportions as 2:1:2, meaning 2 parts tequila, 1 part orange liqueur, and 2 parts lime juice. This gives the most traditional citrus lime flavor with the alcoholic aftertaste of tequila.
However, according to the International Bartenders Association standards, the correct ratio is 50% tequila, 29% liqueur, and 21% lime juice.
The ingredients are mixed with ice in a shaker and served in a glass with a salted rim. If you blend all the ingredients in a blender, you’ll get a frozen Margarita with ice chips.
The Margarita cocktail is ready. Enjoy!
