We offer to cook Lebanese Tabbouleh Salad. Tabbouleh Salad is an easy-to-make and refreshing Middle Eastern salad.
Ingredients:
- 0.5 l of boiling water (boiling water)
- 70-80 g of bulgur
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 2 stalks of green onions (thinly sliced)
- 1 medium-sized tomato (remove seeds and cut into 1 cm cubes)
- 4-6 fresh mint leaves (finely chopped)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
Preparation:
- Add the bulgur to a bowl and pour boiling water over it. Cover the bowl and let the bulgur infuse. Meanwhile, prepare the rest of the salad.
- Remove all hard or thick stems from the parsley, collect all the parsley leaves and start cutting to a fine consistency and add the greens to a bowl. You should have 1 cup of chopped parsley.
- Add the chopped green onions, chopped tomatoes and mint and mix gently.
- Check the bulgur, it should have absorbed most of the liquid and become soft. Fluff with a fork, drain excess water and add to a bowl with vegetables and greens. Note. Bulgur will double in size, so if you prefer a salad with more greens, do not add all of it.
- Add olive oil, lemon juice and salt and mix gently again. Taste and adjust the taste if necessary, for example, by adding more lemon juice or bulgur.
Lebanese Tabbouleh Salad is ready. It can be served with a dish of Lebanese Chickpea Falafel. Enjoy!
