Jjayu – Korean-style fried pork

We suggest preparing Jjayu – Korean-style fried pork.

Ingredients:

  • Pork – 500 g
  • Potato starch – 2 tablespoons
  • Water – 4 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Spinach leaves (or any green salad)
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Oil for frying

Preparation:

  1. Dissolve the starch in cold water and add soy sauce to the mixture.
  2. Cut the pork into cubes, lightly salt and pepper it, then pour the starch and soy sauce mixture over the meat. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. After marinating, fry the pork in oil until fully cooked. Serve on spinach or salad leaves.
