We suggest making homemade Philadelphia cheese.
Ingredients:
- 1 liter of milk
- 500 ml of kefir
- 1 chicken egg
- 1 tsp of salt
- A pinch of citric acid
Preparation:
- Pour the milk into a saucepan and place it on medium heat. Stirring constantly, add the salt and bring it to a boil.
- As soon as it boils, add the kefir and stir until the mixture curdles. Pour the curdled mixture onto cheesecloth, then hang the cheesecloth over the sink for 15 minutes to drain the whey.
- Beat the egg and a bit of citric acid well. Add the curd mixture to the beaten egg and beat again until you get a smooth and fluffy mass.
Homemade Philadelphia cheese is ready. Enjoy!
