Homemade Mushroom Sauce

This homemade mushroom sauce is a versatile condiment that can be served with a variety of dishes, such as steak, chicken, or pasta.

Ingredients:

  • 500g mushrooms (button mushrooms)
  • 200g 20% sour cream
  • 25g butter
  • 20g flour
  • 1 onion
  • Oil
  • Salt

Instructions:

  1. Slice the onion thinly and sauté until translucent. Add sliced mushrooms (or any other mushrooms) and cook until tender.
  2. In a separate dry skillet, heat a spoonful of flour until lightly browned. Add butter and stir to combine. Add the mushroom mixture and season with salt.
  3. Heat for a few minutes, then pour in the sour cream and stir. Bring to a boil. Your homemade mushroom sauce is ready!
