We suggest making Homemade Garlic Mayonnaise.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before starting.
- Place the eggs in a bowl of warm water to speed up the process if needed.
- Blend the oil, egg yolks, and lemon juice with a hand blender. Important: work at the bottom of the blender bowl until most of the oil is incorporated into the mixture before lifting it higher.
- Once the mixture begins to resemble mayonnaise, add the minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Blend again until smooth.
