We offer you a recipe for Green Pea Salad. This light dish goes perfectly with most of your favorite barbecue dishes, and its bright green color will perfectly complement any table.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup of low-fat mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup of low-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of coarsely ground black pepper
- 4 cups of frozen peas (pre-thawed)
- 1/4 cup of red onion, chopped
- 1 cup of celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup of turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
Preparation:
- To make the dressing, add mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper to a small bowl and mix well.
- In a large bowl, add peas, celery, red onion, bacon and cheese. Pour the dressing over the top and mix until fully coated.
