We suggest making Green Frankfurt sauce with sour cream.
Ingredients:
- Sour cream – 250 g
- Eggs – 3 pcs.
- Oil – 6 tbsp
- White wine vinegar – 3 tbsp
- Mustard – 1 tbsp
- Fresh herbs – 1 bunch
- Ground black pepper
- Sugar
- Salt
Preparation:
- Boil the eggs and peel them. Mash the egg yolks with a fork and mix them with the oil. Add mustard and vinegar to the yolk-oil mixture. Season with salt, sugar, and pepper to taste. Stir until smooth. Pour the sour cream into a bowl. Prepare the herbs.
- You can chop the herbs finely by hand or grind them in a meat grinder. Alternatively, blend some of the herbs and finely chop the rest to leave small pieces for visual appeal. Add the herbs to the sour cream, then add the yolk mixture.
- Mix until the sauce is smooth. Finely chop the egg whites and add them to the sauce. Set the sauce aside and let it sit at room temperature for 1 hour. Serve the Green Frankfurt Sauce with meat or boiled potatoes. Enjoy!
