We invite you to prepare Georgian-style kharcho soup with walnuts.
Ingredients:
- Beef (on the bone) – 800 g
- Tomato paste – 200 g
- Walnuts – 100 g
- Onion – 2 pcs
- Rice – 1/2 cup
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Hot adjika – 1/2 tsp
- Kharcho spices
Preparation:
- Cook the meat: place it in cold water, bring to a boil, and cook for 60 minutes, skimming off the foam periodically. Add salt. Once cooked, cut the meat into pieces and return it to the pot.
- Chop and sauté the onions. Add tomato paste or grated tomatoes, minced garlic, spices, and adjika. Sauté everything for 5 minutes.
- Rinse the rice and add it to the pot. After about 20 minutes, add the sautéed mixture to the soup. Cook for another 5 minutes. Add walnuts to the Georgian-style kharcho soup. Let the soup sit for a while before serving.
