We suggest you prepare Fish Pie.
Ingredients:
- 3 fish fillets (e.g., cod)
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 3 carrots, grated
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cabbage leaves, thinly shredded
- 5 grams butter
- 125 ml white wine
- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
- Nutmeg
- Poppy seeds
- Salt
- Marjoram
- Pepper
Instructions:
- Marinate the fish: Drizzle the fish fillets with lemon juice and refrigerate for a few hours.
- Prepare the vegetables: Grate the carrots, dice the onion and garlic, and shred the cabbage.
- Sauté the vegetables: Sauté the vegetables in butter until softened. Add the white wine and season with nutmeg, salt, pepper, and marjoram. Cook until the wine has evaporated.
- Assemble the pie: Drain the fish and season with salt and pepper. Roll out the puff pastry and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Layer the ingredients: Spread half of the vegetable mixture on the pastry. Arrange the fish fillets on top, then cover with the remaining vegetable mixture.
- Create a lattice: Cut strips into the edges of the pastry and weave them over the filling to create a lattice.
- Finish: Brush the pastry with beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 45 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the fish is cooked through.
