Fiery “Spark” Hot Sauce

Let’s make some homemade, spicy fiery “Spark” hot sauce. Many people wonder how to make a long-lasting “Spark” sauce using tomatoes. It’s quite simple: just thoroughly wash and dry all the ingredients, and use only high-quality tomatoes with firm flesh (green tomatoes can also be used). It’s important to note that cooked seasoning is best for long-term storage in a cool place. Raw preparation doesn’t allow the product to be stored for a long time.

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 kg tomatoes
  • 1 kg each of carrots, bell peppers, and sweet apples
  • 200 g garlic cloves
  • 100 g chili peppers
  • 2 cups oil
  • ½ cup 5% vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon ground pepper
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions:

  1. Scald the tomatoes and remove the skin. Grate the carrots on a fine grater. Finely chop the bell peppers, apples, and tomatoes.
  2. Place all the listed ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Add salt, pepper, sugar, and oil.
  3. Cook the sauce for about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Then add the chopped garlic and chili peppers.
  4. Stir in the vinegar. Simmer for another 2.5 hours, then transfer the mixture to sterilized jars.

Note: When preparing “Spark” sauce with chili peppers, adjust the amount to your desired level of spiciness.

Your fiery “Spark” hot sauce is ready! Enjoy!
