Crispy Chicken Rolls

We suggest making Crispy Chicken Rolls – a delicious yet simple alternative to Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Ingredients:

  • ½ kg (1.1 lbs) chicken breast fillet, sliced into wide, thin pieces (4-5 pieces)
  • 1½ tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ cup quick-melting cheese, cut into strips
  • ½ cup ham, cut into thin strips
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups cooking oil
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 20 toothpicks for securing

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the chicken in soy sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Lay cheese and ham strips on each chicken slice. Roll up tightly and secure the ends with toothpicks.
  3. Dip each roll into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs. Deep-fry in oil until golden brown.
  4. Slice and serve with ketchup.
