Cream Soup with Processed Cheese

We invite you to prepare a delicious Cream Soup with Processed Cheese. This cheesy cream soup pairs perfectly with crunchy croutons.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 liters of broth
  • 4 processed cheese blocks (100 g each)
  • 100 g of smoked ham or lean bacon
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Sweet paprika powder

Preparation:

  1. Slice the ham or bacon into thin strips. Peel the onions and garlic, then finely chop them.
  2. Heat a skillet and fry the ham in butter. Set it aside. Next, sauté the onions and garlic until golden.
  3. Bring the broth to a boil, then add the sautéed onions and garlic along with the processed cheese. Stir until the cheese begins to melt.
  4. Use a hand blender to puree the ingredients into a smooth cream. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sweet paprika. Add the fried ham and mix well.
