Cracker Layered Salad Cake

We suggest preparing a Cracker Layered Salad Cake. This salad needs to be chilled in the refrigerator to allow all the cracker layers to soak and soften. It resembles a flower and looks very original on a festive table.

Ingredients:

  • Round crackers – 250 g
  • Chicken eggs – 3 pcs
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Canned sardine in oil – 1/2 can
  • Mayonnaise – 200-250 g
  • Onion – 1/2 pc
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Salt – to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Instructions:

  1. Boil the eggs until hard, cool, and peel them. Set one egg aside for garnish. Grate the remaining eggs using a fine or medium grater, mix them with two tablespoons of mayonnaise in a separate bowl.
  2. Mash the sardines with a fork along with the oil until smooth.
  3. Grate the cheese finely, add minced garlic, a few tablespoons of mayonnaise, and mix well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Arrange the crackers in a circular pattern on a flat plate. To fill the center, break some crackers into smaller pieces if needed.
  5. Spread the egg mixture evenly over the first cracker layer.
  6. Add a second layer of crackers and spread mayonnaise over them to help them soak. Mix the mayonnaise with minced garlic beforehand for a flavorful sauce.
  7. Spread the sardine mixture evenly over the crackers.
  8. Finely chop the onion and sprinkle it over the sardine layer.
  9. Create another layer of crackers, coat with mayonnaise, and top with the cheese mixture.
  10. Place the final layer of crackers on top and spread with mayonnaise. Carefully separate the egg white from the yolk and grate them finely. Sprinkle the yolk in the center and the egg white around the edges to create a flower-like design.

Refrigerate the salad for at least 4-6 hours to allow the mayonnaise to soak into the crackers.

Your Cracker Layered Salad Cake is ready. Enjoy!
