Cinnamon Buns

We offer you to prepare Cinnamon Buns. Wake up your family with the aroma of homemade cinnamon buns these holidays!

Ingredients:

Buns:

  • 2.5 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup plus 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons natural vanilla extract
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 50 g cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoons natural vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon milk

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). For the cinnamon buns, combine flour and baking powder in a large bowl. Add milk, ¼ cup of melted butter, sour cream, and vanilla. Stir to form the dough. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface into a 40 x 30 cm rectangle.
  2. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush the dough with the remaining 6 tablespoons of melted butter. Sprinkle with the brown sugar mixture. Roll the rectangle into a roll.
  3. Cut the roll into 12 pieces. There are 2 baking options:
  • You can place them cut-side down in a 25 cm round baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Or place each roll in a muffin tin. Reduce baking time to 12-15 minutes.
  1. Meanwhile, for the glaze, mix all ingredients in a medium bowl until smooth. Pour it over the hot Cinnamon Buns. Enjoy!
