We offer recipes for Mexican dish – Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla.
Ingredients:
- Wheat tortillas – 3 pcs
- Chicken breast – 2 pcs
- Onion, sweet pepper – 1 pc each
- Cheddar cheese – 320 g
- Ketchup – 6 tbsp
- Olive oil
- Salt, pepper
Instructions:
- Finely chop the onion and slice the pepper. Cut the chicken into small cubes. Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
- Fry the chicken for 5 minutes in olive oil. Avoid overcooking. Place on a separate plate. Fry the onion for 5 minutes until golden brown in the same pan where the meat was fried. Add the pepper and fry for another 2 minutes.
- Add the chicken to the onion and pepper, pour over the ketchup. Cook for a minute or two, remove from heat. Place the tortilla on a large skillet, placing cheese on one half. Place the meat and pepper filling on top of the melted cheese, cover with the other half of the tortilla.
- Place the ready-made quesadilla on a plate and cut in half.
