Cheese Bell Appetizer

Let’s cook a Cheese Bell Appetizer.

Ingredients:

  • 300-400 g cooked sausage or ham
  • 200 g hard cheese
  • 2-3 carrots
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • Mayonnaise (67% fat)
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the “bells”: Slice the sausage or ham thinly. Alternatively, you can use pre-sliced deli meat. Roll each slice into a “bell” shape and secure it with a toothpick or wooden skewer. This will prevent the bells from unraveling and make them easier to eat.
  2. Make the filling: Grate the carrots, cheese, and garlic on a fine grater. Add more garlic if desired.
  3. Combine: Mix the grated ingredients together and season with mayonnaise. Fill the “bells” with the cheese mixture. For an extra touch, add a small piece of olive or a dollop of ketchup to the center of each bell.
  4. Garnish: Decorate with fresh parsley and dill.
