We invite you to prepare the Italian Capricciosa Salad. This quick and easy salad is made with fresh vegetables, ham, and cheese, and is sure to please everyone.
Ingredients:
- 150 g of carrots
- 150 g of celery root
- 100 g of Emmental cheese
- 100 g of cooked ham
- 1 red bell pepper
- 200 g of mayonnaise
- 2 pinches of salt
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
Instructions:
- To prepare Capricciosa Salad, start by peeling the vegetables and the carrots. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell pepper.
- Slice the vegetables thinly:
- Cut the celery root into thin slices and place them in a bowl with cold water and lemon juice.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the carrots into thin strips.
- Slice the bell pepper into thin strips as well.
- Drain the celery root slices and cut them into very thin pieces. Combine all the vegetables in a large bowl and add a pinch of salt.
- Slice the cheese and ham into thin strips, similar in size to the vegetables. Alternatively, you can dice them into small cubes if you prefer.
- Mix the ham and cheese with the vegetables. Add the mayonnaise and stir everything together thoroughly.
Your Capricciosa Salad is ready! Refrigerate it for at least 1 hour before serving. Enjoy!
