We suggest preparing Braised Beef Cutlets.
Ingredients:
- Beef meat – 300 g
- Onion – 1 piece
- Carrot – 1 piece
- Water – 200 ml
- Bay leaf – 1 piece
- Oil – 30 ml
- Salt, ground black pepper – to taste
Preparation:
- Pound the meat, rub both sides with salt and ground black pepper.
- Sear the beef in oil for a few minutes on both sides, then set it aside.
- Without cooling the pan, sauté the onion and carrot in the remaining oil for 3-4 minutes, slicing them in any convenient way.
- Return the beef to the pan with the vegetables, pour in water or broth, add the bay leaf, and season with salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer covered for 50-60 minutes.
- Serve the well-braised beef cutlets hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
