We suggest making “Bounty” candy.
Ingredients:
- 360 g of shredded coconut
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 250 g of dark chocolate
Preparation:
- Place the shredded coconut and condensed milk in a saucepan and mix until the mixture becomes uniform and sticky.
- Roll teaspoon-sized portions of the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Put them in the freezer for 30 minutes to harden.
- Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave. In the microwave, use 50% power with 30-second intervals, stirring with a dry metal spoon each time.
- Using two forks, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place the balls back onto the baking sheet and, if desired, drizzle with extra melted white chocolate.
- Repeat with the remaining candies.
“Bounty” candy is ready. Enjoy!
Store the candies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
