We suggest making a delightful Baked Banana Dessert.
Ingredients:
(Serves 4-5)
- 5 bananas
- 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 300-400 g vanilla ice cream
- 100 g shortbread cookies
- 25 g chocolate
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F).
- Generously grease a baking dish with butter. Peel the bananas and slice them lengthwise. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the dish.
- Use a fine grater to zest the lemon and sprinkle the zest over the bananas. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice over the bananas. Sprinkle with sugar (you can adjust the sugar amount to your taste).
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- To serve, place a couple of banana slices on a plate, top with a scoop of ice cream, and crumble some cookies over them. Drizzle with the leftover lemon juice from the baking dish and sprinkle with grated chocolate.
