Apple Cookies

We suggest making Apple Cookies.

Ingredients:

  • 100g unsalted butter (if salted, omit salt)
  • 7 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5-2 cups flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 medium apples

Instructions:

  1. Cream together softened butter, sugar, and salt (if using) with a fork.
  2. Beat in the egg. Gradually add flour and baking powder until a soft dough forms. Be careful not to overmix.
  3. Peel and dice apples. Add to the dough and mix until combined. The dough will be slightly sticky; wet your hands to shape it.
  4. Form dough into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
