How to Make Wooden Decorative Mini Houses
Materials:
- Small branches or log pieces
- Pencil
- Carving knife / whittling tools
- Sandpaper

Step 1: Choose the Wood
Select straight, dry branches with a diameter of 4–6 cm. Hardwood species like maple, birch, or apple offer a nice texture, while softer woods like pine are easier to carve.
Step 2: Cut and Smooth the Base
Trim the branch into small cylinders of equal height. Lightly sand the bottom so the houses stand firmly on a flat surface.
Step 3: Sketch the Design
Use a pencil to outline the door, windows, and the shape of the roof. Keep the lines simple — rustic imperfections add charm!
Step 4: Carve the Roof
