It turns out it’s very easy to have fresh greens on your table. Many plants can quickly sprout in water and provide a new harvest. Try creating a small greenhouse at home, regrow multiple times and these vitamins will give you energy every day!
- Green onions will regrow if you leave the roots in a small cup of water. The room where it grows should be well-lit.
- Garlic sprouts well and can continue growing in a glass of water. Garlic shoots are very tender in flavor, making them perfect for adding to salads and sauces.
- Bok choy will regrow if you place it in a container of water. After that, you can safely transplant it into a pot.
- Carrot tops sprout well in water. They will reward you with vibrant greens for salads.
- Place small basil shoots (3-4 cm long) in a glass of water under direct sunlight. Once they double in size, you can plant them in soil. The basil will grow lush and healthy again.
- Cut off the base of celery and place it in a dish of warm water in the sun. Leaves will begin to grow in the center of the base, and then it can be transplanted.
- Romaine lettuce will come back to life if you keep it in water for a few days, with the water covering half of the plant. New leaves will appear soon, and the plant can be replanted in soil.
- Cilantro sprouts well in water. Try planting it, and the aromatic sprout will immediately delight you with a lush growth of greens.
